I'm a British travel writer based in Sydney, specialising in island destinations - from Tasmania's cool-climate wilderness to the emerging luxury scene in the Pacific Islands, and beach destinations in Southeast Asia and the Caribbean. I write features, hotel reviews, destination guides and branded content for publications, outlets and operators small and large in the travel space. 

My editorial bylines include Forbes, AFAR, Fodor's, Time Out, Culture Trip and more. I spent two years at Travel Weekly UK writing partner content for clients including airlines, hotel groups and tourism boards, which sharpened my understanding of what separates effective brand content from editorial writing.

Beyond editorial, I work with hotels, established travel platforms and independent creators on website copy, content strategy and long-form writing, from tailored monthly blogs to full campaign copy.

Before travel writing I worked in e-commerce, including time at Disney and Google, which gave me a grounding in digital content and online audience behaviour that still informs how I write.

I'm based in Sydney, Australia and in my spare time I'm usually near water - scuba diving, paddleboarding or planning my next island getaway. I'm also an experienced photographer, and I'm rarely without a camera.
