I'm a British travel writer and content professional based in Sydney, specialising in island destinations - from the wilds of Tasmania to the reef-fringed South Pacific.
I write for both travel publications and travel brands on everything from destination guides and reported features, to hotel copy, campaigns and print supplements.
I've been writing about travel for almost five years, with bylines in Forbes, AFAR, Fodor's, Time Out and more. My specialist area is islands, and being based in Sydney puts me close to some of the most beautiful ones on earth.
Before going freelance, I spent two years at Travel Weekly UK writing branded editorial and partner content for airlines, tourist boards and hotel groups. I also work directly with hotels and travel operators on content strategy, website copy and long-form destination writing. In my spare time, I can be found near, on or under the water - scuba diving, strolling on the beach or paddleboarding.
If you're an editor looking for regional expertise, or a brand that needs a writer who understands travel from both sides of the industry, please get in touch.
